This weekend was the Alameda Antique and Collectibles Fair (if you live in the bay area and haven’t checked it out, I highly recommend it). It was a perfect day on the bay and, while we didn’t get lucky with any purchases, we got some fantastic inspiration for home projects, wedding DIYs and more.
A big trend from booth to booth seemed to be galvanized metal. I love the look and plan on using it in the wedding decor and we just bought a fun galvanized planter box for the yard. I think these galvanized metal milk containers could be a very cool card holder for the wedding.
We almost purchased a french meat-themed poster for the kitchen. It was a bit pricy for a print, but we might need to find one of our own.
The best finds always seems to be in someone’s hands on their way back to the car. This was definitely the case for the moon globe that we saw on our way out. I’m a bit of a space junky (or, um, space nerd) and am kind of in love with this.
Now off to eBay and Etsy to find the pieces we missed!
